Samantha is a fantastic teacher and I am having lots of fun on the course. She is very engaged, makes sure I don't get left behind as the only online participant, and takes time to answer all the questions and correct homework submissions so I can get better at writing. She puts a lot of emphasis on us talking and encourages us to enrich our language and try things out; I feel a lot more comfortable speaking German already!

Samantha’s teaching is systematic which suits me as an adult learner. What I appreciated most was the aesthetic side of her German speaking, be it glass clear pronunciation or tonal sensitivity which makes listening to her a joy.

I’m sure you know that feeling of being afraid to approach someone and ask them something in German. I can confidently say that after lessons with Samantha, speaking to people in German turns from a struggle into pure joy! With Samantha’s help, I prepared for and passed the B2 exam with a "sehr gut," but that’s not the most important part. What truly matters is that the world around me has been filled with color and the happiness of communicating in German.

Deine Kompetenz war für mich ein Segen, da ich somit quasi die Garantie hatte, dass alle meine Fehler korrekt korrigiert wurden. Du hast ausserdem sehr schnell festgestellt, was ich noch brauchte (Endungen, Schreiben, -n am Ende …), sodass wir quasi ab der ersten Lektion daran gemeinsam arbeiten konnten. (...) Mir hat ausserdem gefallen, dass du sehr ergebnisorientiert mit mir gearbeitet hast. Das Ziel war immer klar, und ich hatte den Eindruck, dass du genau wusstest, was noch fehlte – und dies auch sehr gut geplant hast.
